I made my first knife in 1987, my first time ever attempting to make a knife, and it turned out REALLY Nice. Materials make the knife, sometimes, but attention to detail is what counts. It was a big Scottish Dirk with customized Stag handle for a Renaissance Faire I attended. (It is in the main photo on my HOME page.)

I believe, that part of a Knifemaker's duty is to help others who want to make knives. I was very happy to have a long time friend visit me recently and he made his first knife. After a couple days and some diligent work, here is the proud maker Darren and his first knife! - K.L.K. 2021
